I was front row center but somehow didn't get filmed.
I used to be that guy. I actually ended up at this show by total accident.

I had driven over 1,000 miles to L.A. for personal reasons on August 3rd and 4th, 1999 and learned about the show coming in a few days. I hadn't been back in L.A. in six years.

I got in for forty bucks but had to walk around for a few hours trying to find an extra ticket for sale, and got one just in time. When I got in, nobody was a Kiss fan. They were actors and stuff.
They were all eating the free food, and there was only one row of people lined up for awhile before showtime.

He once passed on recording one of the Destroyer sessions because he had an important card game to attend. He also skipped on at least one of the Alive II studio sessions, but ran into Bob Kulick, the ghost musician who filled his shoes earlier that day, a little later on in the bar. Right on cue, Ace asked Bob, "Hey Curly! How'd I sound?!!" But Kulick fired back, "Better than ever!!!!!!!" In a 1977 fan magazine, Frehley predicted that the end of the planet was less than fifty years away. He used to be the mysterious one in the family, but that trophy has been handed over to Vinnie Vincent recently. Ace normalized a decade ago, and is ready to rejoin KISS!!!!

One of Gene's best lines ever was that "Peter is tone deaf." Good one! But wait! What's GENE's excuse for "When You Wish Upon a Star"? NO!!!! Not the song selection, the flat and sharp off-pitch vocals!!! Gene can't even slap a bass. But crooning???!!! No. "Beth" was the Yoko Ono of Kiss. She broke up the band! But "Beth" and "(Music from)" were really Bob Ezrin's fault!!! He was doing blow. And it fucking worked! But The ELDER didn't transfer into sales. WHY NOT??? The answer is UNMASKED in our next episode. It's SO Kiss, but through a mystical detour. On (Music from), they had decided to hide their faces, even from the album packaging!!! That's TOO Kiss! (Music from) The Elder really happened because of the cause and effect phenomena of the merchandising, comic books, TV movie, the finalncial consequenes of the solo albums, and fallout from a disco single among the hardcore fanbase, but the rumor was that they weren't any good at music and the makeup was just a cover up, and Kiss was for kids!!! Turned out to be for 40 and 50 year olds. Eric Carr, 1980, to Paul and Gene: "Hey guys, can I have your autographs? Oh, and could you please sign them in your real names, Stanley Bert Eisen and חיים ויץ‎‎ (Chaim Witz)?"
